Chapter 94
O LORD God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew{H8685)} thyself.
Lift up{H8734)} thyself, thou judge{H8802)} of the earth: render{H8685)} a reward to the proud.
LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph{H8799)}?
How long shall they utter{H8686)} and speak{H8762)} hard things? and all the workers{H8802)} of iniquity boast{H8691)} themselves?
They break in pieces{H8762)} thy people, O LORD, and afflict{H8762)} thine heritage.
They slay{H8799)} the widow and the stranger, and murder{H8762)} the fatherless.
Yet they say{H8799)}, The LORD shall not see{H8799)}, neither shall the God of Jacob regard{H8799)} it.
Understand{H8798)}, ye brutish{H8802)} among the people: and ye fools, when will ye be wise{H8686)}?
He that planted{H8802)} the ear, shall he not hear{H8799)}? he that formed{H8802)} the eye, shall he not see{H8686)}?
He that chastiseth{H8802)} the heathen, shall not he correct{H8686)}? he that teacheth{H8764)} man knowledge, shall not he know?
The LORD knoweth{H8802)} the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.
Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest{H8762)}, O LORD, and teachest{H8762)} him out of thy law;
That thou mayest give him rest{H8687)} from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged{H8735)} for the wicked.
For the LORD will not cast off{H8799)} his people, neither will he forsake{H8799)} his inheritance.
But judgment shall return{H8799)} unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it.
Who will rise up{H8799)} for me against the evildoers{H8688)}? or who will stand up{H8691)} for me against the workers{H8802)} of iniquity?
Unless the LORD had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt{H8804)} in silence.
When I said{H8804)}, My foot slippeth{H8804)}; thy mercy, O LORD, held me up{H8799)}.
In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight{H8770)} my soul.
Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship{H8792)} with thee, which frameth{H8802)} mischief by a law?
They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.
But the LORD is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge.
And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the LORD our God shall cut them off.
