Chapter 47
1To the chief Musician{H8764)}, A Psalm for the sons of Korah. O clap{H8798)} your hands, all ye people; shout{H8685)} unto God with the voice of triumph.
2For the LORD most high is terrible{H8737)}; he is a great King over all the earth.
3He shall subdue{H8686)} the people under us, and the nations under our feet.
4He shall choose{H8799)} our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved{H8804)}. Selah.
5God is gone up{H8804)} with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet.
6Sing praises{H8761)} to God, sing praises{H8761)}: sing praises{H8761)} unto our King, sing praises{H8761)}.
7For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises{H8761)} with understanding{H8688)}.
8God reigneth{H8804)} over the heathen: God sitteth{H8804)} upon the throne of his holiness.
9The princes of the people are gathered together{H8738)}, even the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the earth belong unto God: he is greatly exalted{H8738)}.
