Chapter 92
A Psalm or Song for the sabbath day. It is a good thing to give thanks{H8687)} unto the LORD, and to sing praises{H8763)} unto thy name, O most High:
To shew forth{H8687)} thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night,
Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.
For thou, LORD, hast made me glad{H8765)} through thy work: I will triumph{H8762)} in the works of thy hands.
O LORD, how great{H8804)} are thy works! and thy thoughts are very deep{H8804)}.
A brutish man knoweth{H8799)} not; neither doth a fool understand{H8799)} this.
When the wicked spring{H8800)} as the grass, and when all the workers{H8802)} of iniquity do flourish{H8686)}; it is that they shall be destroyed{H8736)} for ever:
But thou, LORD, art most high for evermore.
For, lo, thine enemies{H8802)}, O LORD, for, lo, thine enemies{H8802)} shall perish{H8799)}; all the workers{H8802)} of iniquity shall be scattered{H8691)}.
But my horn shalt thou exalt{H8686)} like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed{H8804)} with fresh oil.
Mine eye also shall see{H8686)} my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear{H8799)} my desire of the wicked{H8688)} that rise up{H8801)} against me.
The righteous shall flourish{H8799)} like the palm tree: he shall grow{H8799)} like a cedar in Lebanon.
Those that be planted{H8803)} in the house of the LORD shall flourish{H8686)} in the courts of our God.
They shall still bring forth fruit{H8799)} in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;
To shew{H8687)} that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.
