Soak Bible is a free Bible study tool. We try to collect as little as possible, store it carefully, and never sell it. This page explains what that means in plain terms.
What we collect
- Account info. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, name, and profile picture. That's it.
- Your study data. Notes, highlights, and bookmarks you create are saved to your account so they sync across devices.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used (pages viewed, rough location, device type). These tools may set cookies.
Reading the Bible on Soak Bible does not require an account. If you don't sign in, we don't have an account for you.
How it's stored
Account and study data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL). Every row is protected by row-level security, which enforces that only you can read or write your own notes and highlights.
Third parties
- Google — sign-in (OAuth).
- Supabase — database and authentication.
- Vercel — hosting and content delivery.
- Google Analytics & Microsoft Clarity — usage analytics.
We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with anyone beyond the providers above that are needed to run the site.
Your rights
You can delete your account at any time. Deleting your account removes all of your notes, highlights, and bookmarks — the database cascades from auth.users, so nothing is left behind. If you'd like a copy of your data before deleting, email us.
