Chapter 54
To the chief Musician{H8764)} on Neginoth, Maschil{H8688)}, A Psalm of David, when the Ziphims came{H8800)} and said{H8799)} to Saul, Doth not David hide{H8693)} himself with us? Save{H8685)} me, O God, by thy name, and judge{H8799)} me by thy strength.
Hear{H8798)} my prayer, O God; give ear{H8685)} to the words of my mouth.
For strangers{H8801)} are risen up{H8804)} against me, and oppressors seek{H8765)} after my soul: they have not set{H8804)} God before them. Selah.
Behold, God is mine helper{H8802)}: the Lord is with them that uphold{H8802)} my soul.
He shall reward{H8686)}{H8675)}{H8799)} evil unto mine enemies{H8802)}: cut them off{H8685)} in thy truth.
I will freely sacrifice{H8799)} unto thee: I will praise{H8686)} thy name, O LORD; for it is good.
For he hath delivered{H8689)} me out of all trouble: and mine eye hath seen{H8804)} his desire upon mine enemies{H8802)}.
