He twists, one of the sons of Ezer, the son of Seir the Horite (1 Chr. 1:42).
Jaakan
Jaakan was a family name, and by the time of Moses it had also become the name of a place with wells. Deuteronomy 10:6 says the children of Israel journeyed from Beeroth of the children of Jaakan to Mosera, where Aaron died and was buried, and Eleazar his son took his place as priest. The name also appears in the family of Ezer, in the older lists of Genesis 36 and 1 Chronicles 1, under spellings such as Akan and Jakan. A small name lies close to a very large moment, the end of Aaron’s long life, and Deuteronomy 10 tells it in a single sentence.
