Old Testament

Deuteronomy

34 chapters

Deuteronomy is Moses' farewell. Standing at the edge of the promised land, he retells the journey from Egypt and repeats the law for a new generation, urging them to love God with all their heart and to choose life. The book closes with Moses' death on a mountain overlooking the land he would not enter.
