Elizaphan

When two of Aaron’s sons had died, Moses turned to his own relatives for help. “And Moses called Mishael and Elzaphan, the sons of Uzziel the uncle of Aaron” (Leviticus 10:4), and told them to carry the bodies out of the camp. Elizaphan is the same man under a second spelling. Numbers 3:30 names him chief of the Kohathite families of the Levites, and in 2 Chronicles 29:13 his descendants are still listed among the Levites. A name that appears only a few times can still trace a family across centuries.
