Old Testament
Leviticus
27 chapters
Leviticus is a handbook for living near a holy God. It sets out the sacrifices, the work of the priests, the laws of clean and unclean, and the yearly feasts, including the Day of Atonement. Its refrain is "ye shall be holy; for I am holy," and it also contains the command Jesus later quoted: love thy neighbour as thyself.
