• Jeremiah 37:17

  Then Zedekiah the king sent, and took him out: and the king asked him secretly in his house, and said, Is there any word from the LORD? And Jeremiah said, There is: for, said he, thou shalt be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon.

• 2 Kings 25:4-7

  And the city was broken up, and all the men of war fled by night by the way of the gate between two walls, which is by the king's garden:(now the Chaldees were against the city round about:) and the king went the way toward the plain. …
