God allots, a prince of the tribe of Asher (Num. 1:13), in the wilderness.
Pagiel
Every tribe in the wilderness camp had a leader, and Asher’s was Pagiel the son of Ocran. His name is set down in Numbers four times over: among the tribal heads in chapter 1, as “the captain of the children of Asher” when the camp is arranged in chapter 2, at the head of the host when the tribes set out in chapter 10, and in chapter 7, where he brings his offering on the eleventh day. Little else is told about him. He is a steady name in a long, orderly list, and his story is easy to read in a few minutes.

Of Asher; Pagiel the son of Ocran.
Numbers 2:27
And those that encamp by him shall be the tribe of Asher: and the captain of the children of Asher shall be Pagiel the son of Ocran.
Numbers 7:72
On the eleventh day Pagiel the son of Ocran, prince of the children of Asher, offered:

And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Pagiel the son of Ocran.
