Husham
Husham was a king from the land of the Temanites, in Edom. Genesis gives a list of the kings who reigned in Edom before any king ruled over Israel, and Husham is one of them. He took the throne when Jobab died, and when he died in turn, Hadad the son of Bedad reigned in his place. First Chronicles repeats the list almost word for word. Nothing else is said of Husham, no deeds or sayings, only his place in the sequence. The list is brief, but it shows Edom, Esau’s line, growing into a nation of its own.

And Jobab died, and Husham of the land of Temani reigned in his stead.
And Husham died, and Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Avith.
