Bukki turns up twice in lists of names and once in a land survey, and each time he is a link in a chain. In the family of Aaron the priest, “Abishua begat Bukki, and Bukki begat Uzzi” (1 Chronicles 6:5). Separately, in Numbers 34:22, Bukki the son of Jogli is the prince chosen from the tribe of Dan to help divide the promised land. Two men of the same name, one in a priestly line and one among the tribal leaders, are all the text gives us. For the Dan prince, begin with Numbers 34.
