Ornament. (1.) The first of Lamech’s two wives, and the mother of Jabal and Jubal (Gen. 4:19, 20, 23).
(2.) The first of Esau’s three wives, the daughter of Elon the Hittite (Gen. 36:2,4), called also Bashemath (26:34).
Adah
Adah was one of the wives of Esau, and Genesis 36 names her among the women through whom his family grew. Her son Eliphaz had sons of his own, Teman, Omar, Zepho, Gatam and Kenaz, and a concubine named Timna bore him Amalek. The chapter is a list of Esau’s household, kept because his descendants became a people next to Israel. Adah herself is only a name here, linked to her son and grandsons. These three verses tell nearly all that Scripture says of her, and they sit in Genesis 36.

Genesis 36:10
These are the names of Esau's sons; Eliphaz the son of Adah the wife of Esau, Reuel the son of Bashemath the wife of Esau.
Genesis 36:11
And the sons of Eliphaz were Teman, Omar, Zepho, and Gatam, and Kenaz.
Genesis 36:12
And Timna was concubine to Eliphaz Esau's son; and she bare to Eliphaz Amalek: these were the sons of Adah Esau's wife.
