Colosse (colossae)
A letter addressed to one town begins with a warm greeting: “To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse.” Paul sends grace and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. He reminds them they learned the message from Epaphras, “our dear fellowservant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ,” and that Epaphras had told him of their “love in the Spirit.” The name Colosse is also spelled Colossae. To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ which are at Colosse: Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
As ye also learned of Epaphras our dear fellowservant, who is for you a faithful minister of Christ;
