(brother of help), a Danite, father of Aholiab one of the architects of the tabernacle. (Exodus 31:6; 35:34; 38:23) (B.C. 1490)
Ahisamach
Ahisamach is known only as the father of Aholiab, from the tribe of Dan. Aholiab was chosen to work alongside Bezaleel on the tabernacle, and the LORD says he put wisdom in the hearts of all who were wise hearted, so that they might make what he had commanded Moses. Aholiab is described as an engraver, a cunning workman and an embroiderer in blue, purple and scarlet. So the name points to a craftsman at work with skilled hands. His story is told across Exodus 31, 35 and 38.
