Matthew

28 chapters

Matthew tells the life of Jesus with a special eye to the Old Testament, often noting that something happened "that it might be fulfilled." It opens with Jesus' family line from Abraham and includes the Sermon on the Mount, many parables, and the Great Commission at the end: "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations."
