New Testament

Mark

16 chapters

Mark is the shortest Gospel and the fastest-moving; its favorite word is "straightway." It focuses on what Jesus did: healing, casting out demons, calming storms. About a third of the book covers his last week, his death and the empty tomb. It can be read in a single sitting.
