New Testament

Luke

24 chapters

Luke is the longest Gospel, written as an orderly account for a man named Theophilus. It gives the fullest story of Jesus' birth and pays close attention to the poor, women, outsiders and prayer. Only Luke records the parables of the good Samaritan and the prodigal son. Its sequel is the book of Acts.
