John

21 chapters

John's Gospel is different from the other three. It records fewer events and more of Jesus' long conversations, his seven "I am" sayings and a series of signs. John says plainly why he wrote: "that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name."
