Isaiah

66 chapters

Isaiah is one of the great prophetic books. It warns Judah of judgment for its unfaithfulness, yet it is full of hope: a child called Immanuel, a coming king of peace, comfort for exiles and a servant who suffers for others. The New Testament quotes it often, and its closing chapters look ahead to new heavens and a new earth.
