New Testament

Hebrews

13 chapters

Hebrews was written to believers tempted to give up. It shows how Jesus is greater than the angels, Moses and the priests of the old covenant: he is the great high priest who offered himself once for all. Chapter 11 lists heroes of faith, and the letter urges readers to run with patience the race set before them. Its author is not named.
