Old Testament
Habakkuk
3 chapters
Habakkuk argues with God. Why does God allow injustice, and why use cruel Babylon to punish Judah? God answers that "the just shall live by his faith," a line Paul later quotes. The book ends with a prayer of trust even if the crops fail: "Yet I will rejoice in the LORD."
