Old Testament

Daniel

12 chapters

Daniel tells of a young Jewish exile who stayed faithful to God in the court of Babylon. Its stories are among the best known in the Bible: the fiery furnace, the writing on the wall and the lions' den. The second half records Daniel's visions of kingdoms rising and falling, and of God's kingdom that will never end.
